চায়ের কাপের হাত ধরে ফের একঘেয়েমিতে লাগল মুখ
যাক ছেড়ে হাত এই অভিশাপ , যাক দূরে এই মুখ-চেনা দুখ।
আণছি কিনে নতুন কাপ , থাকবে না লেগে সময়ের ছাপ,
চা-ই যদিও খাব আবার , করব শেষে একই অনুতাপ।
তবুও আমি ঘুরব না আর হাতধরে এই বৃদ্ধ কাপের ,
ভাঙব কিনব নিত্য আমি , বাঁচব আশায় হরেক প্রাতের ।
